What is the shop minimum/hourly rate?
My shop minimum is $80, hourly rate is $180 an hour for multi-session pieces. Single session pieces are usually quoted by the piece.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 50 dollar non-refundable deposit must be made for all appointments or to get on the waitlist. The money will go towards your last session. If your tattoo is only one session, then it will go towards that appointment. If it’s 9 sessions, it will go towards the 9th. Your deposit will only be forfeited if one or more of the following occur:
-More than 6 months passes without an appointment or communication.
-Rescheduling an appointment more than twice.
-Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment, without 48 hours notice.
-Changing your original tattoo design completely after drawing has begun.
This policy is meant to insure that I am covered for time spent on your tattoo. If circumstances arise that are out of your control, please call, text AND email to let me know what’s going on.
No drawing will be done without a deposit. Please be sure you know what you want. If I labor over a design based on our discussion, and then you decide instead to do something totally different, another deposit will need to be made.
My only rule is that it will look good in the years to come. Some tattooers are more interested in a quick buck. I will choose not to make the money over giving you a tattoo that will look bad in a couple years.
