Charm City Books is partnering with Baltimore's premiere gaming lounge and community event space, M.A.P. Game Technologies to present our first ever Punk Show Book Talk ,celebrating underground music, graphic novels, games and community! James Spooner is a brilliant artist who's latest graphic novel memoir, THE HIGH DESERT, is the story of a young man’s immersive reckoning with identity, racism, clumsy teen love, belonging—and the story of a search for salvation and community through punk.
James will be on hand to answer questions during a moderated author talk, sell and sign copies of his book, and introduce our special guests Pearl, a baltimore punk rock quartet. Listen to Pearl here!

Tickets are $5 in adavnce and $10 at the door. Doors open at 7pm, the good times roll at 7:30pm.
