About the event
James Spooner comes to Bread Box Philly to launch his new graphic memoir It Starts with Anger, a coming-of-age story about race, punk, and self-determination that traces the roots of the Afro-Punk movement he founded. The night brings together three sides of that story: the film that started it, the book that reflects on it, and the music that keeps it alive.
