A Conversation with James Spooner, author of The High Desert
If you haven't yet, definitely grab a copy of The High Desert, James Spooner's earnest graphic novel about growing up Black and punk in the California desert. James also directed the film Afro-Punk and cofounded the Afro-punk music festival. March 28th from 6-8 PM, James will be coming to The Radical Cat to hang out and talk about writing, drawing, tattooing, music, DIY community-building and more! We really can't wait - this event is free and open to all.
