Join James Spooner and award winning comics creator MariNaomi (Distant Stars, Turning Japanese, Asian Goth Punks Rule the World) in discussion. Both coming from DIY underground scenes and building there own indenpendant communities (Afro-Punk and Cartoonists of color database respectively) the two will discuss their similariteis and differences in finding punk rock and more.
James will read from his book. Both will have books available for sale courtsey of Silver Sprocket.
The nightt will conclude with a screening of Spooner's cult film Afro-Punk and a Q and A.
