I'll be a featured guest at the 14th annual Short Run Comix Festival, Seattle's own celebration of the medium as a coalescence of art and literature — highlighting artists from the Pacific Northwest and around the world who make indie comix and self-published, small press, and handmade books. Now in its 14th year, the fest draws over 3,500 people and features more than 200 alternative comic book artists, and it's known around town as Seattle's "comics Christmas." Admission is free.
Come through for the DIY takeover of the Design Center — I'll have books and prints on hand. More details on exhibitors and schedule to come.
